Stephanie Cobb Kinney, MS, LIMHP, CMFT - --Building strengths while focusing on solutions--
Prior to your first session, Stephanie will determine the general nature of your problem and the type of help you are looking for, obtain insurance information to ensure that your policy covers her services and tell you just how much future sessions will cost you. She will describe several options for treatment and how she will help you to approach your unique situation if you choose to continue.  If you don't feel Stephanie's style will work with your personality, she will provide you with referrals to other qualified mental health providers.

Many of Stephanie's clients say that she is easy to talk to and that they appreciate how Stephanie is actively involved in their healing process. Stephanie is more of a coach than a psychoanalyst and will ask you questions to help you find your own answers. She will not tell you what to do--but you will be able to figure out what you need to do through therapeutic interaction and assignments between sessions. She will help you to discover the strengths you have always had and assist you in developing new skills so that you can improve the quality of your life and feel better.

While there are many paths to the same destination, Stephanie recognizes that time and money are in short supply these days. Therefore, she tries to counsel her clients via the most direct, effective, and cost-effective methods.  We also work directly with your insurance company when filing your claims giving you one less thing to worry about!
